Pentimento:The reappearance of an underlying image. The galleries and museums have closed, and Covid 19 has had its way with a diminishment of the once vital poster walls around town, but I still take a small measure of the beauty and humor in the accidental art that is left.

In the course of my urban wonderings, there's one item that's never in short supply...

Sleeping bears...

Doleful head needing a haircut...(stand-in for myself)...

                                 mushrooms in a snowbank...

                           Tumbling, pizza loving soccer player...

                                          In case you were wondering

                                                 Fish stories...

                                                            No fish?

A stunningly surreal canine (and 1 cat) conga line yard sculpture in Red Hook.

I've had an abiding fascination with the wide variety of patterns and textures in the big burg and this batch reflects notes taken on walks in recent months of life in the corona-verse.

 Late day reflections in Chelsea

A tired, but beautiful playground on the Lower East Side.

         They couldn't resist...

This undulating flotsam mass occurs at the end of our block on the Hudson River, and is an infrequent byproduct of tides and stiff wind.

Oak leaves leave patterns after the rain.

Parachute down by the East River.
