POSE-A-PALOOZA

Pose-A-Palooza,...this is still one of my favorite categories, started over a decade ago with the emergence of cel phones and a city swelling with photo-op backgrounds.

done with a bubble gun and situated on a photo-op
block in Bushwick

OK, not in NY, but a classic moment in San Jose,
Costa Rica a few weeks ago.

This couple struggled for a while getting the whole
pie in the pic.

A textured background in Soho.

Pet pix with a very cooperative subject.

COSTA RICA

Recently, we had the good fortune to spend a week traveling with friends who live and work in Costa Rica. Both are involved in the rapidly growing world of ecotourism which maintains a powerful presence. Large parts of the country and its amazing wealth of biodiversity are protected under the national park system.
We were generously given access to a number of forest walks, night hikes, bird watching and a small dash of San Jose (the capital) for my urban street curiosity.
Many thanks to Amy and Crist Inman for their generosity.
