I've been documenting street art in NYC since the eighties, and, as the files grew, categories like spray graff, stencil, or wheat paste were not enough. .At some point I began a file called "other".  Here's a small batch of recent "otherness".

Poster art has always been a favorite subject and NYC streets have a long history of great work in the ad arena.  Of course there has been a dip in volume lately, but this recent batch manages to shine through these dark times.
