GOVERNORS ISLAND ART FAIR NYC

Last weekend, we had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the 2013 Governors Island Art Fair.  Working with Noah Scalin, an artist and author from Richmond, Va. and using everyday materials, this is the first piece in a series of site specific anamorphic portraits of scientists. This inaugural project, is of the physicist, Richard Feynman, and was created with thousands of real flowers that would have been discarded.

Thanks to Noah, for pulling all this together, and to Jemma Brown and Rigo Lara Guzman for their contributions.

In addition to the Art Fair, there is also a rare opportunity to enjoy an amazing collection of early
20th Century carnival rides and games.  The Art Fair and carnival will continue through this last
weekend of September.  The portrait may not.
